A set of weather and climatic conditions gathered during the Toolsmart PoN project ( Open Community PA 2020 – Pon Governance 2014-2020). Data are obtained from IoT based stations realized with low-cost devices. The University of Messina closely with the university spin-off smartme.IO has improved and adapted what has already been done previously in the #SmartME activity so that the technological solution developed could be shared with the other administrations involved. Data gathered are: "Humidity", "Precipitation", "PM10", "Temperature", "Pressure" "Wind speed", and "Wind direction". Data are collected by automatic sensors and are not subject to validation steps so a proper use is recommended. The dataset is structured in folders (a folder for each IoT station), where the raw data sensed by each device connected to an IoT station is contained in a CSV file named with the UUID of the sensor itself. Sensors metadata and data aggregated by IoT station are contained in CSV files named with the prefix "sensors-" and "aggregated-". Data are collected from 2020 to 2022.

Data are produced by a python script able to aggregate data by “date” removing the empty columns and setting to “Null” data missing in the aggregated dataset.
