This dataset contains tweets related to the devastating earthquake occurred on 22 February 2011, at around 12 p.m. local time in Christchurch, New Zealand (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Christchurch_earthquake). The earthquake registered 6.3 on the Richter magnitude scale and caused widespread damage across Christchurch, killing 185 people in what has been the nation’s fifth-deadliest disaster.
