The dataset was collected as part of the IBIS ECO project ("IoT-based Building Information System for Energy Efficiency & Comfort"), an initiative aimed at implementing an advanced platform for monitoring and optimizing energy efficiency and environmental comfort, both indoors and outdoors. The data originates from two main demonstrators: the University of Basilicata campus in Matera and the "Ten. D. Robilotta" school in Montemurro (PZ, Italy). Utilizing a network of IoT sensors, the system enables real-time monitoring of parameters such as air quality (concentration of common indoor pollutants), temperature, humidity, occupancy, and energy consumption (both thermal and electrical). The measured data was aggregated and is presented with a 10-minute timestamp interval. Data acquisition took place between April 15, 2024, and November 15, 2024, with the objective of monitoring the behavior of the demonstrators, supporting sustainable building management, and enhancing comfort for end users. The project is co-financed by the Italian PO-FESR 2014-2020 - AXIS I - Research, Innovation, and Technological Development - Action 1B.1.2.2 - Support for the implementation of complex research and development projects focused on a few significant thematic areas and the application of technological solutions aimed at achieving S3 strategies.
